We had a wonderful family getaway! The house was beautiful — spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. A perfect spot for relaxing and making memories together! A bit of a disappointing trip unfortunately. The house itself is beautiful if lacking some commonly used items, but just not worth the price point.<br/>The house is freezing cold. The only fireplace is in the main bedroom, and the only heater is there as well. The rest of the house receives very little light and is icy. We complained and the managing lady dropped off one gas heater, but considering it was beautiful weather for winter, it was unbelievably frosty in the house!<br/>The big disappointment was the jacuzzi, we made the booking with this in mind. We were sent very specific instructions on how to use it, followed them and it still took 4 hours to get hot while leaking. We turned it off over night and it was still warm enough for the kids in the morning, but as it cooled we turned it back on, it tripped the power, and then when I turned it off again it leaked really badly until it was empty. We never got to use it and no one was sent to fix it.<br/>The provided wood was also all wet. The house is beautiful, with a fully equipped kitchen and a modern living area. However, the rest of the home doesn’t feel as updated as the main living spaces. We didn’t have hot water for the first two nights, but the issue was resolved and everything worked well for the remainder of our stay. What an epic stay! This place exceeded our expectations. The entire property from beautiful garden area to inside comforts truly made it worth every cent. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for an unforgettable mom’s weekend away & a birthday to remember.
