We had a wonderful stay at Hyggehuis. It is a beautiful house situated really close to Voelklip beach and the cliff path. Everything was as described in the listing and the host was really helpful when we had questions. We slept well on comfortable mattresses and really enjoyed the duvet setup. We liked the kitchen layout which enabled cooking and talking around a common space. We would love to return in summer to take full advantage of the house! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our stay at Ocean Whisper Villa was top notch. From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by the luxerious interior design. The kitchen was stunning and had everything you could possibly need for your stay and more. The Nespresso machine was a treat and was stocked with plenty of coffee pods. The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Lovely living area with a nice big smart TV, where we could wind down in the evenings. Upstairs has a study which is super convenient for working from home and the wifi was fast and had a strong signal through the house, very convenient! The house has ample space and all of the bedrooms are beautifully designed, the bedding was amazing and it felt like sleeping in a hotel. Great location, only a short drive to restaurants and other activities, shopping etc. Located inside a security complex, felt very safe and could go for nice walks. This felt like a home away from home and we would have gladly stayed for longer and we will definitely be back!

Hyggehus was an absolute gem! This beautiful home is incredibly well-designed and had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, and the hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hermanus.

We spent a weekend at Sea Valley Lodge X and had the best time. The views are amazing (we spotted some whales from the balcony!) and it's all very comfortable - everything you need for a good time in Hermanus. The garden itself is beautiful too - would definitely go back. Check-in was super easy and the hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. 

Also, we left some things there, and the hosts went the extra mile to get it couriered back to us in Cape Town :)

We really enjoyed our time at this luxury home. The place was super comfortable, and the ocean views were incredible—we loved just sitting and watching the waves whenever we could.

The layout worked really well for us, both inside and out. The courtyard with its braai was a great spot to hang out, especially in the evenings. Inside, the bedrooms were cozy and the bathrooms felt clean and modern, which made it easy to relax.

We also appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was; it had everything we needed, whether we were making a quick breakfast or a bigger meal. And the location was fantastic, close to everything but still felt private.

Overall, it just felt like a nice, comfortable place to spend some quality time together with friends.

We had a wonderful stay here in July. Even though it was winter, we were lucky to have clear, sunny days — perfect for enjoying the lovely outdoor entertainment area. The open-plan kitchen and lounge were warm and inviting, with a fireplace that heated the space beautifully in the evenings. The house had all the amenities mentioned in the listing, which made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, cosy, and ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors. Our kids had loads of fun riding their bikes on the quiet road outside, which felt safe and peaceful. And the large undercover braai area was a real highlight — great for winter evenings with friends and family. We’d happily return and highly recommend this spot for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway!
